Growing up you might look back on a few inspiration people or life events that have carried through your greatest success. Not children have these supportive people in their lives or a place they feel safe to explore who they and the wonderful dreams they have for the future. In comes the Lords Gym City Center, this facility is a beacon of hope and opportunity for the youth in San Joaquin County. They have opened their doors and hearts to the children in the hopes to help instill values such as the pursuit of excellence, character, passion, identify the need, meet the need and raise the standard. Their mission and vision for the community are to provide a safe place to offer mentorship to teens 13-17 years regardless of socioeconomic status, gender, or race in the hopes to give them tools needed to succeed. Since its inception, the City Center has welcomed over 4,000 community members and provided over 2,000 youth a positive, productive, and safe environment to thrive.
